Kathy Buck began her real estate career at the age of 24 in Pittsburgh, PA. She joined Equity Real Estate in the Squirrel Hill area and sold residential real estate while concurrently managing the historic Duquesne Brewery building on the Southside. Kathy and her team’s innovative and creative ideas brought to life an artist’s colony in an abandoned building as local bands, crafters and artisans filled the spaces with life and music. Today the entire Southside is a thriving artist’s scene.

 

The west coast opened new opportunities for Kathy’s family and she moved across the country to make her home in Orange County. Pivoting in a down market, Kathy became an appraiser for residential and commercial multi-unit and mixed-use properties. She traveled all over southern California studying markets ranging from San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego Counties. She worked for banks, credit unions, and several job shops. The specialized knowledge and experience she gained during these six years proved to be essential in all types of listing and leasing valuations and serves her clients well today.

 

A turn in the market brought her to Prudential California Realty where she was a consistent multimillion-dollar producer until she obtained a Broker’s license in 2006. She then changed offices and worked in Corona del Mar, Newport Beach as an associate broker.

 

Soon after she co-founded American Real Estate Management, Inc. an asset management company, where she served as President and Corporate Broker during the peak of foreclosures from 2007-2009. Kathy managed a team of 10 and grew a nationwide sales force of 1,200 licensed agents, providing training for foreclosure and short sale transactions. She was instrumental in online innovation, paperless transactions, and the hands-on development of a cutting-edge interactive website using the latest technology. She was a trailblazer creating multiple streams of income attracting top companies as affiliate partners such as DataQuick, First American Title and Home Warranty, DocuSign and more.

 

Another market turn created more traditional opportunities and Kathy started her own boutique brokerage, Beyond Realty & Investments serving coastal Orange County. She served her communities as a seasoned realtor(R), broker and community volunteer. Through volunteering and fundraising for charities, Kathy was introduced to TGG Realty, Inc. and invited to join the team as an associate broker and Corporate Broker.

 

Kathy is a graduate of Saddleback College, AA Liberal Arts and Real Estate, Sawyer School of Business, BA in Business and Alumni of UCLA Extension, Business and Management. Kathy is very proud of her 3 grown children, Adam, married and a property manager in Orange County, Aaron, a student of Computer Engineering at Princeton University, and Alison, a published Google Scholar and Graduate student at USC Keck School of Medicine, Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research.
